Though born Aug. 11, 1954 in Flint, MI, Donna has lived in Colorado since first grade, adn has grown up appreciating the beauty of the mountains and their wildife. As long as she can remember, she has always enjoyed crating art. She worked in a rehabilitation setting with young children who were also often medically fragil. donna lives in the small town of Palmer Lake, CO, on an acre next to Pike National Forest, with her husband, daughter, dog and cats.
Donna is most known for her animal/wildlife pieces which convey a "sense of life" or presence about the animal and its situation. In addition, the "human animal" and the stories it has to share, have become more prevalent in her works.
